klee klee
klee klee — the name is Tibetan for "take it slow" — is Shanghai fashion group ZUCZUG's answer to fast fashion. It starts with the fabric: organic cotton, linen and wool, often left in its natural color or dyed with plants, then cut into relaxed everyday pieces made to be worn for years. Its denim line, Let's blue, takes the same unhurried approach to indigo. Beyond clothes, the brand runs naze naze, a project that has worked with Dulong weavers in Yunnan since 2016, and its stores repair old pieces and resell the flawed ones rather than see them thrown away. Find it on Anfu Road and at Columbia Circle in Shanghai, with more shops in Beijing and Hangzhou. T-shirts start around RMB 500; denim and outerwear run higher.
